Thank you for visiting the Institute of Social and Economic Research at the University of Alaska Anchorage. We've just reorganized the site to make it easier to find out who we are and what we do. ISER is Alaska's oldest public policy research organization, founded soon after Alaska became a state. ISER's research offers a broad look at all the issues that have been important in Alaska from the 1960s through the present.
But ISER offers much more than just research—teaching, public service, and student internships, to name some of ISER's other activities.
